Beauty Babble #59 Mar Cake

I’m so excited about today’s #beauybabble because I’ve been a fan of hers for such a long time! Mar creates some amazing illustrations and artistic creations that you must check out and swoon over @marillustrations. Today she so kindly shares some of her favorites in #beauty and #selfcare

Let’s babble it up!

BB: Tell me, what are your all-time favorite beauty products for face, body, and hair?

M: I don’t have any favorite beauty product for my body, I use any random soap because I use very little product every day on my skin.

For my hair, I’ve been using for several years a Wella Professional Shampoo, the big one, that way I only have to buy it once a year!

With my face, I have much more care as I always struggle with acne. I used to try a lot of specific acne soaps and creams and nothing seemed to work till one day I discover Mamita Botanical Skincare, a brand of natural cosmetics of proximity, handcrafted with natural and organic products of the mountains near Barcelona, where I live. My face skin has improved so much and since then I only use for my face their products! I clean my face with their cleansing powder and facial exfoliating cleanser and some days I use their super Linda serum for the night and super Linda cream for the day.

BB: I will be looking into that skin care line. When you get the chance to be alone, what is your favorite thing to do for self-care?

M: Sofa and tv! That’s my favorite self-care treatment! I don’t do a lot of beauty self-cares but from time to time I do a facial mask with my cleansing powder (calming mask) from Mamita Botanical, and the results are amazing!

BB: Self-care is all about unwinding and tv definitely does that for me as well. Here’s the third and trickiest question: If you were a food or drink what would you be?
M: I would be some kind of cake, for sure! Or something sweet, ’cause it’s my favorite food, any kind of dessert!

Thank you so much for answering these questions, Mar! I look forward to seeing what you create next.
