Beauty Babble #47 Gina Cheeseburger

Today’s fabulous #beautybabble features someone I have been following for a while. Gina, @ginaway1, is a freelance writer, editor, copywriter, podcaster, content creator, and brand builder. She recently wrote a really great article about the benefits of having a skincare routine for @marieclaire  that you should check out! Here she shares her favorite beauty products and her way of doing #selfcare.

Let’s go!

BB: Tell me, what are your all-time favorite beauty products for face, body, and hair?

G: Like most beauty writers, I use at least 25 products a day minimum, so this is a tough one. I can’t-live-without items are:

Marmur Metamorphosis Serums

I mix and match all three, depending on what my skin needs. This light, gel-like serum isn’t oily or sticky and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

Ling Replenishing Hydrator

I’ve been using NYC facial guru Ling’s products for years. I couldn’t live without this one, and use it every morning and night without fail.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV Broad Spectrum SPF 30

A light moisturizer plus excellent sun protection—a win-win.

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair UV Face Moisturizer with SPF 30, 2.5 fl. oz.

Curlfriends Tame Smoothing Serum

The best frizz-tamer and hair-perfecting finishing touch I’ve ever used. I hope they never discontinue it!

Tame Smoothing Serum

BB: I’m going to have to look into some of these products! When you get the chance to be alone, what is your favorite thing to do for self-care?

G: Being alone is self-care! It’s a tie between a glass of red wine and a Netflix binge, or a mani-pedi at Jin Soon Natural Hand-Foot Spa in NYC.

BB: I agree, being alone is essential to my self-care as well. Here’s the third and trickiest question: If you were a food or drink what would you be?
G: A bacon cheeseburger medium-rare, with everything on it.

A cheeseburger sounds really good right about now. Thank you, Gina, for answering these questions and supporting a beauty blob!
