Beauty Babble #5 Passion Fruit Talya

It’s Beauty Babble time and this week’s guest is my very good friend and fashionista Talya!

Follow her @Carpefashiondiem for some serious outfit inspiration!

Remember to stay tuned because I will be posting the interview for everyone who responded!

On to the questions!

BB: Tell me, what are your all-time favorite beauty products for face, body, and hair?

Talya: My favorite beauty products along these lines are Aquaphor for face (I rarely use it, but my friend introduced me to it and when I use it it’s great for dry skin post-shower.)

For the body, I love fragrance-free Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion as my skin is super dry and my hands get very crackly, and this stuff clears it in no time.

For my hair, I love Suave and only use shampoo when showering. It’s not heavy on the skin or hair and washes out clean. The fragrance isn’t too overpowering and leaves you feeling and smelling like you just left the spa.

BB:  I use Aquaphor for everything! When you get the chance to be alone, what is your favorite thing to do for self-care?

T: I love a long bath with the laptop on and a bunch of candles lit with maybe a scented one or two. I know it’s cliche but it’s so soothing. When I’m better at life I’ll use a body scrub and let it soak.

BB: Here’s the third and trickiest question: If you were a food what would you be?

T: I’d be a passion fruit. A. Because of the obvious. I’m super passionate about whatever I’m doing. In work life… etc.. B. Because I’d like to believe I’m a rare breed. And C. Because not everyone can handle me. The same way only some people can handle the tartness of a passion fruit. If there where a D. It would be because I may look one-way one the outside but you have to wait to get to know me to appreciate the deliciousness of what’s on the inside.

Thank you, Talya, for adding to the Beauty Babble project with your fun and bright answers!
